gotta another meeting today so lets get started.
1. NPR reports DUBAI now has ATMS WHICH ISSUE GOLD BARS OR GOLD COINS versus floating cash prices? hokaaaay..
2. SOUL MATE dragged me to see LA MISSION yesterday, a small indie art house film written,directed,produced and starring Benjamin Bratt. i was afraid it was gonna be another stereotypical machismo melodrama with low rider cars,posturing, arm candy girls et al but SM lived in the mission district of frisco for many years and worked for muni (the bus agency). in LA MISSION the lead male is a muni bus driver and lives in a paint challenged apartment bldg in LA MISSION.i won't ru9in what lil plot there is but the female characters, aside from the foxy black love/bed interest, are with wisps of maternal stereotypes and low cut outfits.the first half hour is wasted with feel good hand slapping where i wanted a back story, things are either alluded to briefly or ignored. the black female lead works in a wimmin's shelter which would've been infinitely more interesting than guys posturing, drinking, beer,polishing cars and talking about booty HUGE HUGE SIGH..
3.@ALIEN THREATS
forgot to mention that a few years back there was a UFO SPOTTING OVER CAPITOLA IN BROAD DAYLIGHT, a color picture of the incident was featured on the daily fishwrap and i gotta admit it looked kinda hoaxy to me, like a bicycle tire.but MUFON and other experts consider it legit. UFOS are real but i am still undecided on what to think of them. i have my theories and others have theirs including the NAZI UFO CONSPIRACY which i saw on the seldom watched MILITARY CHANNEL last week.OPERATION PAPERCLIP (which i first heard of in THE X FILES) imported not hundreds but THOUSANDS OF NAZI EXPERTS and their research after the war...there are logical if not always rational connections between this and the so called MODERN UFO 'FLAP'. in the end you are left to wonder whether our government is collaborating with alien races or flying an inter cosmic FALSE FLAG OP against its own peeps...or maybe demons??? (the nasty 'djinn' cited in THE KORAN).beats me SIGH.
BTW
Capitola is north of VANDENBERG AFB in santa maria (where Micheal Jackson lived) where many BLACK OPS SPACE LAUNCHES TAKE PLACE.at night we frequently hear low flying military aircraft, VERY low flying like almost at rooftop level...at least we ASSUME they are military aircraft...just akin'
