SM and i spent a fascinating 2 hours last night watching the marvelous-dreadful debunking of LRH and his massive Scientolgy scam, we highly reccommend it if you want to see the Basic Rules of most cults.The Mirage's sister fell prey to this and their mother,Momcat, was terrified of The S Word People and the documentary showed that she had good reasons to fear....check it out,i promise you will not lose interest but go pee or shit first okay?....
this reminded me of my various encounters with several cults including the S Word,Hare Krishnas and Moonies..Rev.Moon is the new Jesus? GET REAL, he made his fortune making M 16 for our 'Nam war...WWJD? yeah right. in my youth i used to carry a small black journal and on one side i had a blue crescent and on the other i had a blue cross and depending on who was harassing me i would turn the book to shut the fuck up mode.. a wild eyed "Let me tell you about my Jesus!" works wonders (smirk).
back when The Mirage and i were married, we lived in a place frequented by Jehovah's Witnesses almost every weekend and being nudists,we would put on a towel,answer the door and politely delcine their salvation.
one sunday, i said Fuckit and answered the door naked,they were shocked and quickly departed even tho i invited them in to talk about Adam & Eve......afterwards we would peek out the window to see what sex the pair were outside ringing our doorbell..The Mirage would sometimes open the door and ask "Whatcha want?".sometimes the younger of the two would want to stare and gawk before being pulled away, it was such fun!
see i DO have a sense of humor,but it can be very very dark..think Addams Family dark.
