aloha 2u again,
 one problem with the LINKS Tag format is the restriction of fonts and type face unlike regular blog pages where u can go crazy! but that's just technical stuff.

being recently turned 63 and a Genuine Bay Boomer (b.1947)
all this chipping away at SSI has both and me and Soul Mate
moderately perturbed,after all there is always a quick relatively
pain free suicide alternative  SIGH.
but as usual we worry that like Humpty Dujmpty the American Dream is FUBAR
(i.e Military Slang fucked up beyond all repair) which means our kids have
'screwed the pooch' (gone shit outta luck-SOL etc etc).

i am, by nature, NOT an optimist but even i am
mildly stunned how quickly it has all unraveled.

i am am perplexed by the massive shopping spree workers
went on for Xmas, i doubt the massess of unemployed & often homeless
had a "Merry Xmas"...
we had limited gifting as our SSI COLA
(Cost of Living -sic) was frozen yet again.
but it is a brisk beautiful day

i probably have repeated the statemtnt that having the fedgove reform Wall Street
is like hiring the arsonist who burned down your house to supervise rebuilding it.

cuts in basic wages, pesnions stifled then ended,
entire nation states sinking into red ink
at the 'tender mercy' (nonesuch) of the IMF and World Bank moguls.
