PAUL KRUGMAN wrote a column this week that many jobs that pee can do NOW are gone,GONE FOREVER, KAPUT, FINI.
try going to cash starved community colleges to train for jobs that no longer exist or even don't exist yet-except nursing and computer repair.

the famous author/inventor. futurist RAY KURZWEIL (sp?) is looking forward to 2025 when he predicts that machines will be smarter than people and will have to invent and repair themselves. this from a man who hopes to live FOREVER, no sincerely, he wants to be physically Immortal.SIGH.

i have seen the world the GOPublicnas want is to live in, where it is 1931 forever. SIGH.
an arthouse darling called which we saw yesterday has been called SOUTHERN GOTHIC NOIR, a genre new to me but fairly accurate in describing the hardscrabble hand to mouth existence of those left alone and betrayed by their country in the Ozarks.not entertaining in the traditional sense but compelling, truthful and honest to the bone.I ENJOYED THE HELL OUTTA THIS MOVIE.the best i have seen this year in a low key down home rawboned skinned knuckles way.the Lead actress JENNIFER LAWRENCE gives a spare heartfelt performance which appears artless but nonetheless heartbreaking. i say check it out....
