part of Soul Mate's b'day present.in the 1960s,back when i was young and virile,
the Ford plant in Dagenham England was paying the "industrial seamstresses"
wh habd sewed the car seats, half what ther men were making.

so after the usual mealy mouthed and management promises their organizer
suggested they try a work stoppage which lead to a full blown strike
despite the Good Old Boys back room double dealing.
the film critic, nay the Banal Film Critic of the local fishwrap,
clled this film " a light after dinner mint" next to Blue Valentine.
have not seen BV but it must be god awful next to the
determined working class struggle heroics of MID.
EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL WORK,

this happend all over Europa in the 1960s,
here wimmin still make about 78 cents for every
$ a man makes, if anybody is still working class here anymore.

BTW my 50 year old Massage Therapist took her
almost 13 year old dottir to see Black Swan,
on my recommendation and both LOVED IT.
just got back from PT and am feeling too relaxed to bitch about anything..ALMOST.
