finally saw Avengers 2-Age of Ultron last week and can see why Joss Whedon bailed on the franchisehow many times can they fight one punch & KOd enemies?.oh it has some hunor and a weak rmance but all in all NOT great but amusing...esp if you read the comix...
BESSIE on HBO is about the famous black blues singer Bessie Smith from the Depression era and her battles with fame,moonshine and pills. Queen Latifah stars and owns the shit out of every aspect but was curious why they excluded the manner of her death wherein she survived a car crash only to be turned away from a white s only hospital and bleed out en route to darkie town, the period costumes are so spot on they gave me chills. worth a look...
