MOVIE NITE
when was the last time you saw a cerebral,well written,well acted
,tense thriller based on CHAOS THEORY, "CHAOS" is such a film.
now playing on IFC or Netflix, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me.

also JENNIFER'S BODY wherein Megan Fox, i am so NOT a fan, plays a shallow Succubus,
another Diablo Cody screenplay..sly,snarky feminist FUN. i enjoy it more with each watching plus the Set Dressing is Fantastic.

is you are a big fan of CGI Bloodbaths i recommend NINJA ASSASSIN on MAX, i think, got most of the details of Ninjutsu right for a change altho no mention of KOPPO  the ninja bone breaking skill...

if you do not live in Santa Cruz County then have probably never heard
 of of the often infamous but definitely notorious Hrnflings biker bar
in Ben Lomond,on Highway 9 beyond Felton & Scotts Valley..what can i say?

about the side of three two car garages put together in length and width,with biker self segregated (?) on the outside porch, a small greasy kitchen, which thankfully was closed, a small stage about 6x 10, a busy bar opposite, backless bar stools (oh my aching back!) and the customers who provide almost as much entertainment as the onstage bands ,Osmosis- a jam band & Stone Monkey (no relation) a Ska-Speed Metal band...oh, and a dancing guy in a gorilla head and hands.we were there with some new friends, one of whom played cowbell and congas and despite the ear bleed level volume we had a good time. met a Cubano sax player named Louie who told me tales of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack from when he built A Fame cabins in Reno and the time he was a stooge for two foxy sister whores in Oakland, ah ye good olde days.

remember when we all HAD TO convert to digital TV??? well, the FCC has decided that the 'White Space' left behind from the vacated analog signals can be used by cell phones etc and the MSM had described it as WiFi ON STEROIDS this as we are fighting the less intrusive but still dangerous Smart Meters roll out HUGE HUGE SIGH, the battles for health and sanity Never End.,
