at 14 i wrote to them after hearing a spokesperson on the radio. BTW IQ test merely guage how good your are at taking IQ tests (see Emotional Intelligence,autism et al). after passing the initial write in test i was then informed that 14 was then too young for Mensa...
fast forward 8 years (did Mensa exist in TexASS then?)
to whne i was in L.A. same write in passed then a quarterly test at UCLA appointment,so far so god then i discovered LSD and the day of the test i had been tripping for 26 straight hours without sleep and didn't do that well.i failed not surprisingly.
enter a private detective from the slums of Beverly Hills who somehow got hold of the test results and started ALPHA,smarter than 90% of the populace ALLEGEDLY, which he deemed a more social version of Mensa. ijoined and made some friends but became political, anti war activist, before i gatthered a circle of like minds. then i fled L.A. and Mensa never crossed my mind as an option since. Mensa has parties and nudists now but still.....
Ronnie's Xmas "Gift"...
everyone loves a fireman but some people take his literally.Ronnie was a hotel co worker in the 80s and told me how one Xmas eve fireman had doused an apartment fire which would have left her homeless,so how could she ever thank them? being a sexual free spirit she put on a raincoat, red heels and a matching bow in her hair and presented herself fort 24 hours to her fireman rescuers for any and all sexual services. and both enjoyed it so much she did it again the next Xmas and some kind soul suggested she rotate among the others stations which she did happily.
