Pattern Recognition Time...
1. i drove a taxi for five years 1975-80
2. Uber the smartphone App is fueling taxi driver outrage
and protest across Europe and to a lesser degree here.
3.Google has invested in Uber raising it's valuation to 18 Bn U$D.
4.. Google has invested in driverless car technology.
5, someone let in slip that Uber
is playnign The Long Game and has lil desire to replace your taxi
instead it wanst to dispathc your driverless car and ease
parking and traffic congestion worldwide
(they're already in 70 cities and 30 plus countries)..
one of my sons works in the causal dining/fast food industry.
1.a foodtech bot developed in frisco can
take your oder,cook it, bag and tag it in in
under a minute. UNDER a minute!
so long "entry level jobs"
2.there is an article today that in
the daily fishwrap that manufacturing jobs are
plummeting due to automation.

and leaving human beings out of the loop
(already happening at research labs)
5.so one might suggest that when robots
begin building cheap 3D Printwers
we humans are screwed Big Time.

but not quite the Robot Apocalypse
