and she earmned a pittance and a byline untikl
they butchered her Fort Bragg stroy to make
it read like a staff reporter had interviewed on scene.
this anemic rag was bought? by the larger Ukiah paper
The Ukiah Daily Journal
which was dubbed "The Daily Urinal" by locals.
we now live in S'Creuz where
the Santa Cruz Sentinel
is known as "The Senile"
and what is the commopn theme here?
all are "moderate" GOP Chrisitan orinted slanted
semi journalism. the best thing about the Senile are the editorial and daily cartoons.
the Senile has been klnown to reprint the same page of
daily cartoons as apparently all
proofraders were fired when they left downtown
for Scotts Valley, they are also notorious for 'juimp pages'
( continued on) which lead to pages that don't exist or full page ads.
as a conveyor of eyeballs they are pathetic which is why
the single free paper (it just bought it's rival)
has a higher and more dedicated readership
and don't get me started on the enfeebled local TV news...
sigh.
like Congress people can recognize
(on some levels) when
they're being bamboozled
and express their deepest contempt with
apathy and derision
which is why S'Cruz just had their
lowest voter count in recorded history.
