i consider Sen.Ted Cruz to be Joe McCarthy Lite
and i am old enough to remeber Joe McCarthy
being destroyed by Edward R.Murrow.
i have been blogging here for several years now and
like NYC The Big Apple
thse United Snakes of Amnesia is
rotten to the core.
it goes deeper than the Tea party
and Koch Bros billionaire
and money captive Congress and
regulatory system.
take Obamcare
they had three years, three years to get it right
and did they recruit a company like
Facebook,Amazon ot Twitter to
cope with the massive influx of applicants
and lookie loos?
no, according to the SF Chronicle today
they went with a Canadian company CGI Federal,
say what?
americans..who funded and built the Internet
and created boatloads of billionaires were
ignored for some now obviously inept
Canadian firm...WTF?
the USA is broken
Neo Rome is falling or fallen
and still some Yahoos think
that the USA is the White Hat of
this world
and not some ominiverous
ravenous capitalist hungry
beast. BEAST i tell ya.
look at the fedgov shutdown
of late and look at the paltry
fast food wage scales or K Mart workers
despite the obvious natural beauty of this land
we are in deep deep shit
and Congress is busy re- arranging
the deck chairs and music on
The USA Titanic.
i write to Congress many times a month
and the only replies i get are fundraising requests
and i can only that some lowly staffer or intern
actually reads them.
see i do have hope
small H hope
faint hope and it is fading
fast.
i write this when i am
NOT deprerssed and feeling better physically
than i have in many years
and yet i look past the excellent weather and
intense beauty here in
Paradise and i see a wasteland of despair
and suffering while the Silicon Valley
uber rich snap up multi million dollar properties
here for vacation homes then
rail against the homeless and needy who clutter
"their" streets...
this can be and often is a heartless and cruel nation
and it may already be too late
to change course towards...
socialism of a sort?
