sitcoms & native advertising

holla,
1.as one might expect i am NOT a rom-com sitcom kinda guy but neverthelss here is a brief survey.
FX
Married FAIL unpleasnt and unfunny
YOU'RE THE WORST   a sparkling gem, LOVE it.

ABC
SELFIE new as off last nite and begins with the lead fermale character covered in her own vomit,on an airplane, then in her lingerie before fashioning sarong blankets. okau i get that she's a tech addicted Kim K. wanna be and obvious to most common human intteracxtions (like most male nerds/geeks).and i get that's it's supposed to ne an updated of My Fair Lady  whixch many of the younger generation may not have heard of but...despite the attractive co stars the show seems to based on curbing female sexuality and huniliation..
got example, the male co star is never shown in his underwear or even shirtless...will it get better???..

MANHATTAN LOVE STORY  also last nite, i was fearful this would have a sleazy Woody Allen vibe but i found it refreshing, the chractwers likeable and the meme of Interior Monloguto be used to good and accurate effect plus it portrays the bluster and brassiness common to most NYCers..worth a look?

"Native Advertising"
of you've ever read a movie or restaurant review or YELP comment than you know the ppwer of native advertising, which they have dubbed this meme. but with cutbacls across all media platforms somwething more insidiious has crept in. PR will provide videio and copy for station present with a folksy local touch without mentioning the source. last week the loval fishwrap(which is up for sale again along with it's parent company) had a front page above the fold storu of The Gap and had a downtown window had a "1969: display with had skinny black jeans hung with stylized black nooses. offensive yes. offensive as Abercombie & Fitch Aryan prepping hiring poliices? maybe not.. was it surperfluous front page phony advertising f;uf? absolutely...
