STILL BROKEN

"My heart is Full.." JoAnne Woodward, from play/film THE EFFECT OF GAMMA RAYS ON MAN IN THE MOON MARIGOLDS.(read the play & Loved the film)

aloha,
i am reminded of the parable of the five blind men exploring an elephant. i have just spent the last 21 hours in a local ER and hospital room.the food is better than i remember...but it has been awhile since 1991.

depending on which me3dico i choose to believe..
1. i have a severe iron deficiency which leads to crippling anemia.
2. i have the above PLUS A DRAMATICALLY ENLARGED HEART.
3. i have #2 due to my apnea machine plus related labored breathing.
4.i am a waste of time & resources attempting to, and getting, and all nite long needless transfusion...
5.i am less a cranky old bitter bastard then the pathetic hypochondriac COPD apnea machine dependent nabe who kept me awake all nite BITCHING & BITCHING & BITCHING..

so now i have a hole in my vein the size of a .38 slug and my low iron has been temp resolved by the blood transfusion but as for a DEFINITIVE DIAGNOSIS...the Lab Coat Jury is STILL OUT.
MY INTERNAL BLEEDING CONTINUES UNEXPLAINED despite several MANUAL ANAL PROBES last nite HUGE HUGE SIGH.

so now,
i have to EAT A BLAND DIET, EXERCISE & LOSE WEIGHT...if i can mange the last two without falling over...our nabe an 88 year old frail white well dressed & coifed granny fell recently and people stepped over & around her and she dresses MUCH BETTER THAN I DO.

BTW a very nonsense German matron scrubbed me like a draught horse this ayem, sensual & interesting but not erotic.
I FEEL BETTER NOW THAN I DID YESTERDAY BUT IT'S POSSIBLY ONLY A TEMP THING...

the weather is sorta wonderful and the tourists are back like maggots swarming on a carcass.Life is Good?

  1. I remember a man who had bleeding on one of those Mystery Diagnosis shows. In his case, though it was sudden massive bleeding. And then it would stop and doctors couldn't figure it out. Turned out he had intestinal cancer but it was just a little higher up then they normally probe. Not saying that's what you have, though - it was a LOT of bleeding on an intermittent basis.

There are other things like IBD too but you'd think doctors could figure that out easily enough. Sometimes parasites are hard to diagnose.
