okay okay,
i admit to having a merely academic interest in FRACKING
even tho O BOMBER has it as part of
his Energy Independence fantasy
along with the mythical
CLEAN COAL which he repeated at the DNC.
i do recall wincing about the Marcellus (sp?) Shale
deposit in the northeast and how
Pennsylvania plans to add
5,000 NEW WELLS A YEAR
for the unforseeable future....(NPR)
and i recall recoiling in horror watching the docu
GASLAND(Oscar winning docu)
when the Colorado homeowner
set their faucet water on fire.....

then i heard about the exploratory wells in Aromas
(next door in Monterrey County)
then the front page of Sunday's SF Chronicle
points out how fedgov retains the mineral rights
even under private property
and is setting up an auction around Xmas to
grant access to the Monterrey Shale
which extends from the Pacific to Fresno,
where this will all start.

earthquakes, did i mention earthquakes?
as a News Omnivore i noticed a court case
agasinst Fracking along the Gulf of Mexico
where  it was implicated in swarms of earthquakes....
have yopu noticed of late all the activity along The Ring of Fire
from China to Chile to Beverly Hills?

we here in northern KALIpornia live and await
The Big One, one to rival the '08 frisco disaster,
and the mere thot that this Fracking
may be the incidental trigger.....

BTW the Occupy movment is NOT dead
despite the epitaphs aplenty from the MSM
they want it to go away like bad acne
