i was personally victimized by this in the late 60s as an anti-war activist/leader.
we had an armed plainclothes cop show his gun at one meeting
plus we had our own informant who kept urging us ti violence,we refused.
or friends in Venice, who founded the L.A.Peace & Freedom
spent a decade and all their money fighting gunrunning charges
relating to the local Black Panthers, which were bogus as
they were confirmed pacifists.it goes on and on
after a TV appearance with the founder of Viet nam Vets Against the War
Staff Sgt.Donald Duncan,my phone was tapped and i lost my job.
this docu talks more about the Puerto Ricans,Native Americans
and Panthers with lil emphasis on the mainstream anti-war activists
but we had our share of agitators too....
