behind me CNN is bleating about US ground troops
(grunts) being sent into "darkest Africa"
like The US Empire would dare save a few drachmas....
eh,U$D by ending our Endless Wars in Central Asia
and elsewhere (sigh)...are you old enuff to recall
the mythical Peace Dividend after the so called Cold War "ended'?
as for me i have now added Vertigo to my long
shopping lists of symptoms, the causes (per Google)
range from minor to crippling...yet another med to remember.

i worked at Moscone Ctr in frisco for almost nine years.
i first encountered Steve Jobs early one morn
screaming his guts out (post Apple firng & pre Pixar)
because the display for his start up NEXT COMPUTERS
(jet black if you recall them) was not Perfect.
luckily it was NOT part of my job to suck up to him.
a few years later,early 90s i think,
i was in the lobby of Moscone just chillin'
and watching other lower paid flunkies
humping their tasks. Jobs rolls up in a limo,
after his triumphant return to Apple,
so this must've beem MacWorld?
clad in his usual black tee and jeans
and attempts to walk thru the lobby...
now being an egotist and tantrum tosser
his mug is plastered all over the place
including on banners 30 feet long
hanging from all the rafters.
so this low wage flunkie/guard stops him
at the door...not knowing who he was.
couldn't be bothered looking up or
around him or looking at the flyers or limo i guess.
so Jobs pitches a fit and
FIRES THE ENTIRE APPLE ADVERTISNG
DEPT ON THE SPOT JUST BECAUSE THIS
ONE LOW PAID DOOFUS HAS NO IDEA WHO HE WAS.
i thot this was a joke until i saw people crying
and fleeing back to Cupertino to clean out their desks...
ah,it's good to be back.

i dream, i dream a Lot, rehearsals fro my writings SM says.
in my dream,i see taste smell hear and fells..just like "real Life" (sic).
once recent dream was of one of my fave childhood TV shows (see blog title)
9.30 PM Sunday nites starring the brilliant acne scarred Richard Boone
as an effete Palace Hotel dwelling all black wearing mercenary
gunslinger on the side of "the Good Guys"..
his tabloid ad read "Have Gun Will Travel. Wire Paladin,Palace Htl San Francisco"
this is a real 150 year old plus hotel scant blocks from where Mark Twain
contemplated suicide on the main darg Market Street.
i meant to write about this before but my screenplay
got in the way, finished it yesterday (i think).
so it occurs to me that this title also described
AMERICAN FOREIGN POLICY..
yeah yeah,you see it?
aside from the occasional Good War our history
is one of invasions,usurpations and exploitation of
foreign & domestic wealth for our domestic robber barons.
this is hand in hand with our cororatism hypocrisy,
and the long heralded Decline of the American Empire.
the only thing that lives forever is Cancer,
an all too accurate simulcara of American Empire
filling its endless maw like a Chinese HUNGRY GHOST...
so should i vote for Rick Scary or Mitt Zombie
to get us there faster or allow O Bomber
four more years of lies,excuses and drone murder?
i've got a lot more to say on this,of course, but now have another screenplay to type up.
