BUT MY BFF G MAN TUGGED MY COATTAIL WITH THIS ONE..
when i was in 5th or 6th grade i wanted to be an architect.
i was told "black people can't be architects."
now i went to school in Harlem until High School
and we were singled out for the College Track,
we were the best and brightest Harlem had
to offer and altho i did not fully understand this i knew
what "be a credit to your race" meant
(my Mother got bot JET & EBONY magazines
fulla the Black Bourgoise )
yet i was told that i couldn't be an architect...
my white bisexual friend Tomas, railed on FB today
about kids calling themselves NIGGAH THIS & MY NIGGAH
my biracial sons and some of their white amigos do this.
as usual i am of two minds about this.
yes, i agree with Tomas it is a deeply hurtful word
whether spoken or unspoken and yet..
just as the LBGT community reclaimed GAY & QUEER
and hijacked it from the bigots and the term GUYS
became gender neutral.
just as O BOMBER is our first coconut POTUS
things are not always what they seem,
with NIGGAHS & WIGGAHS and
Eminem and what have you..

AT NINE AYEM TO A STILL SLEEP GROOGY
SOUL MATE i made her laugh whilst trying to
explain the classic Psych 101 GANZFELD EXPERIMENT
wherein subjects had two light difussing tennis or
ping pong balls taped over their eyes for an extended period of time.
(i am NOT making this up)
and after awhile the subjects could tell
whether their eyes were open or closed
as the datastream of optic input had been subverted.
BTW this is a great and lazy way
to set your mind to Mediate
any pair of white tanning goggles works
just as well without pulling out your eyebrows using tape.

a few words on wrasslin',
NOT wrestling like in the Olympics
but wrasslin' which traces its origins
to the carny and sideshows...
1.i usedta watch it with my Dad in the 1950s NYC
when it was a regional gig run by Vince McMahon Sr.
2.yes i am well aware that it is as tightly scripted
as any other "reality show"
3.yes i am also aware of its homoerotic overtones too.
but aside from all that i enjoy the mob appeal and manipulation
as characters are switched from hero to heel and back again.
see HULK HOGAN, MICKIE JAMES (female)
thru 2 diff companies,TARA (female)
"the Icon STING"
thru 3 diff wrasslin organizations,
MR.ANDERSON,KURT ANGLE
again 2 diff companies.etc etc
the merchandising, the ersatz enthusiasms,
the outsized personas, the glitter, the glamour,

and wimmin in spandex,fishnets and peroxide.
the raucous paying crowd are willing dupes
to their own flagrant manipulations.
as a student of the Human Psyche with a

FASCINATING
